Once you have accepted an offer, a few practical checks help the pickup go smoothly. Start with access and the exact condition of the vehicle.

Confirm the pickup details
Agree on a time and the pickup location with the team. Explain whether the car is on the street, in a driveway, behind a gate or in a garage. Tell us about slopes, low clearance and other cars blocking access. Photos of the space around the vehicle can help. Do not move an unsafe vehicle yourself to make collection easier; discuss the access first.
Remove belongings and personal information
Check the glovebox, door pockets, boot, under seats and storage compartments for possessions and documents. Take out toll tags, parking permits, child seats and anything you are keeping. If you can safely access the vehicle settings, remove stored contacts and paired devices before handover. Do not share account passwords with the collection team.
Keep the quoted vehicle complete
The offer is based on the details supplied. Tell the team before removing a roof rack, wheels, battery, tools or other equipment that was included in the enquiry. If the condition changes after the quote, let us know before pickup. A vehicle with more parts missing may need a different assessment and loading plan.
Have keys and the agreed documents ready
Gather available keys and the documents the team has asked you to provide. Confirm what to do if a key is missing or someone else will be present at pickup. Check the applicable registration and number plate process ahead of time using the documents guide and official Service NSW links.
Check the handover and payment details
Confirm the vehicle and agreed offer before completing the sale. Payment is by cash or bank transfer when we collect. Keep a written record of the sale and the details you need for any registration transaction.
